Business is more of discerning the future needs and demands. Business for the next decades are in Electric Power Plant, Water Treatment, Aviation, Tourism and Micro-financing. The effort, time and resources have been deployed in order to secure oil supply to the developed countries, same endeavour has not made in the field of producing electricity, supply drinking water. Oil is the external factor for the economy, the country which does not produce it. On the other hand production of electricity and supply drinking water are the internal factors of growth irrespective oil producing country or not. The real scenario of the electricity production and supply water treatment, in the Least Developed and Developing countries, the governments are the owner of the most of the production plants. And most of those plants were made or are being made by the financial assistance of foreign donor countries or agencies. Implementing a project in any sector, in the LDC and DC bureaucracy takes at least two to three years to start off any project. WDB will work with the local interest groups and stake holders, as business is these days is a multi party strategic integration to achieve objectives. The pattern of development activities that were in the 60ies, 70ies and 80ies have been changed a lot after the initiative of extensive privatisation and de-regulation through out the world. |
